Spark Ignited Engine Control

New Eagle SI Engine Management enables any type of spark ignited fuel engine to be quickly integrated with a Raptor or MotoHawk ECU. The advanced control system algorithms can be adapted to meet the requirements of today’s most advanced engine systems. Below is a list of highlighted  features.

Diesel Engine Control

New Ealge CI Engine Management is used for compression ignition engine control development. The torque based strategy can be used on engines with common rail fuel systems. Raptor modules support both solenoid and piezoelectric injectors. Below is a list of highlighted features.

Bi-fuel / Dual Fuel Engine Control

New Eagle Bi-Fuel / Dual Fuel Engine Management strategies are used for the emerging alternative fueled engine markets. Bi-Fuel control allows the use of two independent fuel sources such as propane and gasoline. The Bi-Fuel strategy controls the transition between fuel sources. However, this can be fully integrated with the New Eagle SI control for a turn-key solution. Dual fuel is the mixture of two fuels for combustion and is typically accomplished with a compression ignition engine. New Eagle Dual Fuel control utilizes a torque based strategy to not only maximize the consumption of desired fuel source (low cost fuel), but also maximize overall engine efficiency. Low Pressure Fuel Engine Control (CNG and LPG)

New Eagle Low Pressure Engine Management is an extension to the New Eagle SI strategy. This allows the control of low pressure feed gases to be used on SI engine applications. The control can be configured for stoichiometric or lean burn operation. Below is a list of highlighted features.

Engine Systems Case Studies

Propane 8.0L Engine 
New Eagle developed the control system on a liquefied petroleum gas (lpg) engine for Powertrain Integration 8.0 liter 8 cylinder engine.

 

Gasoline-CNG Bi-fuel Vehicle Conversions 
New Eagle developed the controls to convert 4 stock vehicles (BMW X3, Hyundai Sonata, GMC Acadia Denali, Ford Mustang) into bi-fuel Gasoline-CNG vehicles.
