Multiplex Control Modules Overview
GCM-S12X-64 DCSM (DC Switching Module)
New Eagle offers a MotoHawk target module, the DC Switching module, for power management for vehicles, on or off-road, marine and more. This is the first module with high side high current outputs for DC load switching for mobile hydraulics, Telematics, and vehicle control.
The DCSM is used as either a MotoHawk target or as a CAN based Input/Output slave.

Wireless Remote Switching Application
The DCSM can be programmed using MotoHawk to act as a slave IO device using a remote control device. The DCSM can be used by itself as a master and in addition with others as slaves. The module will communicated to the handset reciever via CANopen blocks .
BCM – Gateway Module
Multiple Input Module that can also serve as a CAN Gateway Between 2 or More Protocols. Supported Protocol includes J1939, GMLAN, J1850, RVC, and others.
21 inputs: 4 High side, 4 Analog, and 7 Configurable Digital (High/Low). Field flashable and IP 67 Rated.
This product is not currently available. It is in production at manufacturer, and available with a supply agreement

KAntrak Configurable Interface Module (KCIM)
The KCIM (formerly known as CCIM Cantrak Configurable Interface Module) is designed as a distributed I/O module. It reads analog inputs (voltage and resistive) and from digital switching sensors and then transmits the resultant data in SAE J1939 or NMEA 2000 serial format via the CAN bus. Each of the sensor inputs and resultant serial messages can be configured independently by use of the KCIM PC Config Tool.
The KCIM is a rugged, waterproof module that will operate in a harsh environment as typically encountered in automotive and marine markets.
7 Analog, 3 Digital Inputs (for tachometer, wheel speed, etc.) to CAN Output Device, and 1 Digital Output. Converts Analogue and pulsed inputs to CANbus messages.
Controlling the IO over CAN
J1939 messages control the I/O. These messages are defined in the tool which is included with the purchase of the KCIM.

Smart KAn Input Module (SKIM)
The Kongsberg Automotive Smart KAn Input Modules (SKIM) are a family of configurable and expandable input/output (I/O) modules with CAN bus (J1939, NMEA2000) communication. The family include a model with two I/O channels and a larger one with eight. Each I/O channel can be configured with a PC-based tool to be an analog, digital, or frequency input, or a frequency or PWM output.
The SKIMs are environmentally sealed to IP67 and have integrated Delphi Metri-Pack connectors, mounting holes, and wire tie locations. They are designed for 12-24VDC nominal applications, with a wide input range from 9-32VDC.

11 Switch Keypad
The 11 switch keypad are versatile designs which are compatible with the full range of New Eagle multiplex control modules. This allows a complete system or subsystem in wide range CAN based vehicles and applications to be quickly and easily created. Alternatively the keypad can simply be incorporated into a vehicles existing CAN bus. It’s generic slave configuration, which is common to many CAN based applications, allows the vehicle application to take full control of the keypad and give each switch its own characteristics.
Up to 32 LED’s can be used for displaying the switch status or vehicle diagnostics. The LED’s can easily be configured for various diagnostics determined by the application or the user’s needs. An additional 12 backlight LED’s can be controlled individually and are dimmable to suit day/night operation. Laser etching of the icons on the silicone membrane provides customization to suit a specific application quickly and cost effectively. In sleep mode, this unit draws less than 1mA and has a bi-directional wake-up pin used to wake up the system or be woken up by the system.
This compact, fully sealed and ruggedised unit will provide extended service life in the harshest environments.
New Features
In 2011 Kongsberg Vehicle Controls updated their 11 Button Keypad. The changes included an increased range in operating temperature (-40 to +85 Degrees Celsius), increased reliability by incorporating new tactile switches and the product can now accept both 12 and 24 VDC components.
The upgraded product has no physical changes to its appearance, functionality or mounting orientations however there have been changes to the keypads' part numbers.
