Displays

New Eagle offers a number of displays spanning a broad range of form-factors. Most of the displays can integrate easily with systems created using the MotoHawk development tool suite, but they can also be used in a standalone manner with existing systems that contain CAN and Serial protocols such as J1939 and J1587. To make a custom application for a display it could be programmed by the customer, or by an experienced engineer at New Eagle. VeeThree Instruments

The VeeCAN display from Veethree Instruments is similar to the KAntrak, but provides a more visually appealing color display. Again, it can either run standard engine monitor software or our Applications team can create a custom solution. A software SDK is also available for those who want to design programs (in C) for the display. New Eagle is also developing a 7" and a 10" version of the VeeCAN. CANvu has transitioned to a more functional display, the VeeCAN 320, sold by the same company, VeeThree Instruments. The CANvu is still avalible in limited quantities.

New Eagle also offers the CANtrack 7200/7210 which are monochrome displays with cold weather options available (7210). The CANtrack displays are CAN, J1939/J1587, and RS485 datalink compatible.

Veethree Instruments also offers other discrete gauges and a GPS Speedometer used for measuring ground speed and headings. The GPS Speedo is available in various styles for many different applications.

Direct Connect CAN Gauges

New Eagle is Proud to Offer a selection of VeeThree's J1939 Direct Connect Serial Gauges. These Gauges connect directly to the CAN bus and require no additional devices to drive them. The 2" gauges are powered by a smooth stepper motor for 270° of operation. All displays have LED back-ltighting for excellent night visibility and are SAE J1939 compliant. These displays are sealed to IP67 immersion standards and feature an anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens to minimize fogging.

KAntrak

The KAntrak displays are a series of rugged LCD display panels that can either run standard engine monitor software, or our Applications team can design a custom solution. Options for the KAntrak line include an internal heater for extreme low temperature applications, and CSA certification. A software SDK is also available for those who want to design programs (in C) for the display.

MiniView

The MiniView is a small rugged gauge that is designed to operate in harsh marine and off-highway applications. It is nice to replace classic 2" gauges, and it comes with a MotoHawk library for quick programming.

The new MiniView 1700 is to act as a replacement for the discontinued Miniview. It utilizes the KAntrak 1700 housing while maintaining the MiniView Display app. Upgraded Features include

New Eagle BlueTooth-Can Interface Kit

The New Eagle BlueTooth-Can Interface Kit is a set of hardware parts and software that is designed for wireless real-time monitoring from a control module to a mobile device or tablet. The kit includes a user-defined PID (Parameter ID) set, a Bluetooth™ adapter with a harness, and a Motohawk® OBDII software library that reads and assigns PIDs dynamically according to the OBD Protocol. The New Eagle OBDII handler service tool is configured to monitor data from a Motohawk control module and other devices that follow OBDII protocol.

This product can be used for any of the controllers that New Eagle offers.
