Diagnostics Controls Development Engineer,
Ann Arbor, Michigan

  • Experience with light or heavy duty OBDII diagnostics controls development – comprehensive components and major monitors – esp. catalyst and fuel systems monitor expertise.
  • OBD calibration experience a plus.
  • Experience writing embedded software and developing embedded electronics a plus.
  • The right type of diagnostics controls development experience in related fields will also be considered
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Master’s preferred.
  • Matlab / Simulink model based development experience.
  • Experience in the utilization of test equipment and test cells (engine dynos, chassis dynos).

Drive by Wire / Torque Security Controls Engineer, Ann Arbor Michigan

  • Experience developing diagnostic controls for electronic throttle body based systems. Experience developing sensor rationalities, torque path rationalities, software / hardware self diagnostics, and cross checking utilizing a safety micro.
  • Drive by wire diagnostics / torque security calibration experience a plus.
  • Experience writing embedded software and developing embedded electronics a plus.
  • The right type of diagnostics controls development experience in related fields will also be considered

Control Algorithm Development Engineer

  • Controls development experience in one or more of the following areas: SI and CI engines, electric machine controls, supervisory controls, exhaust and evaporative emissions controls.
  • Calibration experience in one or more of the above areas a plus.
  • Experience writing embedded software and developing embedded electronics a plus.
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
  • Matlab / Simulink model based development experience .
  • Experience in the utilization of test equipment and test cells (engine dynos, chassis dynos)

Skills are nothing without character. Interview and references will focus on character and proven ability to work in a fast paced, organic environment.
